The Weekend Is Here Again

I find it incredibly hard to diet on weekends. I see friends, go out for dinner, spend more time shopping for food. So how to handle weekends? I have decided that I will take a little diet break on the weekends. I try really hard not to go overboard, but I just let go a little, and, okay, yeah, sometimes I go way overboard and boy am I sorry when I get on the scale on Monday morning.

BUT! I decided it is important for my body to understand that there is food in my future. The body tends to go into “starvation” mode when you diet too long, it shuts down the unnecessary processes and concentrates on the most vital ones. So eventually on a diet, you could be eating nothing and still not lose weight. So use the weekend to relax a little and remind your body to maintain all of the functions it want to do.
