Walk Your Children To School
There is a movement afoot in Massachusetts. In most communities, if children live too close to school to qualify to be picked up by the school bus, they have to walk, which REALLY means the parents drive them. So how about parents WALKING their kids to school? You get some exercise in your day, your kids get exercise, and everyone burns more calories during the day.
Aerobic exercise, exercise during which you are not working hard enough so you can’t carry on a conversation, causes you to burn calories at a higher level for several hours after you finish.
